Hi, I am Carrie, the founder of Constellations for the Earth. I co-create  innovative projects and healing pathways for today. I am a Duine, an earth listener and everything that I do is about bringing the story of humans and earth into connection and caring communication.  This is the job of the duine and the shaman. It is a job that we feel in our bones.

I have taught shamanic practitioner and then constellation courses since 2006. Here you can see some of the practitioners who trained with me.  Gratitude to everyone who studied with me! and who have helped me learn truly how to listen in the moment - you have each shown me so much wonder!

 

As well as being a shamanic practitioner, I am highly trained and experienced in both education and counselling, so I have found a way of creating robust, deep listening training courses. This means that the people who are now out in the world teaching their own shamanic courses also know how to hold a very strong, safe and compassionate space. I am generous with the sharing of what I have learnt over the years and if you train with me you will find yourself richly resourced to take your own work forwards.

Equally it may be that you will take the training to simply become more balanced and more you in your life.  The word shaman means 'the one who knows' and the practice of the shaman is very much about being humble and at a heart and soul level it is about living in service of a much bigger picture. I watch many people step out of the courses and become more confident to be their caring, creative and knowing selves. I witness them as they walk into their lives living the way of knowing. Sometimes they weave the practice into their occupations as team leaders, space holders or ambassadors for social change and care for our planet. I have seen so much transformation happen in systems because of the grounding the shamanic trainings have brought to people. I have also seen people completely reinvent their lives. I am so grateful to the variety of people who come and work with me for what they show me about the many ways we can change the world.

 

Those who have recently trained with me in constellation practitioner trainings are taking the constellations practice into their own workshops and sessions. The constellation training is a 250 page document and involves hours of practice in groups and 1:1. I  am proud to be the first shamanic constellation school in Scotland. The training brings power of listening and supports ancestral and planetary healing.  The way I teach and hold space takes the family constellation practice into stages for shamanic theatre. 

 

Shamanic theatre and Story making is my passion. So you will also find many of my shorter courses and retreats have you operating with theatre, the idea of stages within stages and stories with the earth. I have become so much closer to the earth because of these courses and I love the communities that come together and the shared stories of living change and healing that happen as we move through. I also appreciate working one to one with personal healing projects and it is a joy to support people to free their knowing of what makes them feel happy and be more truly themselves.

Carrie Day is an internationally known shamanic and constellation educator and author with thirty five years of experience of teaching and facilitating innate creative expression. They are a trained shamanic practitioner and teacher, pluralistic counsellor, a family constellation practitioner, an educator in nature and PGCE as well as being a practicing artist and filmmaker.   Their years of working with people has created so many appreciated shifts and Carrie has developed  a presence as a leader in the field of shamanic and constellation practice.
