Professional Family Constellations Practice

Modules 6–10 — Advanced Practitioner Training

The second stage of the programme moves from foundational learning into in-depth Family Constellations practice.

​

Across Modules 6–10, you develop the ability to work with greater complexity, hold a professional therapeutic space, facilitate complete constellation processes and reflect critically on your own practice.

​

The training places particular emphasis on working with the whole earth story field, ethical practice, client autonomy, practitioner awareness, case studies, practical sessions, supervision and integration.

​

Module 6 — Holding Space & Transforming Space

Professional Facilitation & Ethical Practice

​

This module focuses on one of the most important skills in Family Constellations: the ability to hold a clear, safe and grounded space.

You will develop:

• Advanced presence and space-holding skills.

• The use of the Earth Ensemble Wholeness Template as a framework for holding space.

• Person-centred principles, including unconditional positive regard and the work of Carl Rogers.

• Compassion and empathic listening.

• Grounding and practitioner self-awareness.

• Approaches for maintaining your own clarity and boundaries.

• Professional ethics, confidentiality and record keeping.

• Understanding when to seek supervision or make an appropriate referral.

• Structuring a session from opening through to safe completion.

• Considerations for individual and group constellation work.

• Working sensitively with complex emotional material.

• Nature-based approaches to space holding and resourcing.

Professional Practice

​

You will begin developing the ability to facilitate sessions with greater structure, awareness and professional responsibility.

Why this is high-standard training:
The emphasis is not simply on learning constellation techniques. You are learning how to be the practitioner who holds the work — including boundaries, ethics, self-awareness, client safety, supervision and appropriate referral.

Module 7 — Optimum Flow & Healthy Orders

Advanced Systemic Understanding

This module takes your understanding of Family Constellations to a deeper theoretical and practical level.

You will explore:

• Hellinger's Orders of Love in depth.

• Belonging, hierarchy and systemic balance.

• Exclusion and the hidden within family systems.

• Reversal in the line.

• Earning one's place.

• Pulls towards ancestral fates.

• Different understandings of soul and systemic dimensions.

• Gestalt therapy and its application to constellation work.

• Montessori theory and developmental perspectives.

• Vibratory consciousness within the Earth Ensemble approach.

• How to recognise patterns and potential movements within the field.

• The appropriate use of constellation phrases and interventions.

A key principle throughout this module is client authority. You will learn to offer possibilities without taking over the client's knowing, allowing the client to find their own words and movement.

Professional Practice

​

Your practice becomes increasingly structured through:

• 2 individual sessions

• 10 case studies

• Reflective learning and practitioner development.

Why this is high-standard training:
The course moves beyond memorising standard phrases. You develop the ability to understand why an intervention may be appropriate, when it may not be appropriate, and how to keep the client at the centre of the process.

Module 8 — The Intuitive Way

Intuition, Client Autonomy & Practitioner Awareness

This module develops the practitioner's ability to work with intuition while maintaining professional boundaries and client autonomy.

You will explore:

• Developing and refining intuitive awareness.

• Working with presence and information arising in the constellation field.

• Supporting clients to access their own intuition.

• Maintaining client authority and avoiding practitioner dependency.

• Recognising transference and countertransference.

• Understanding when a client may place the practitioner in an idealised or familial role.

• Strategies for working responsibly with these dynamics.

• The importance of supervision and reflective practice.

• Relationship constellations and relational entanglements.

• Belonging and inclusion within Hellinger's work and the Earth Ensemble model.

• Safe preparation, opening and closing of ceremony.

• Working with archetypal and intuitive resources.

Professional Practice

You will work with practical session examples and develop your ability to distinguish between your own interpretation and what belongs to the client's process.

Intuition is approached alongside self-awareness, boundaries, client autonomy, transference awareness and supervision, rather than being presented as a substitute for professional judgement.

Module 9 — Phrases, Techniques & Creative Applications

Advanced Family Constellation Practice

This module expands your practical repertoire and prepares you to work with a broader range of family and relationship dynamics.

You will explore:

• Advanced constellation phrases and interventions.

• Attachment theory.

• Early life and womb experiences.

• Birth and family-of-origin dynamics.

• Adoption and birth families.

• Blended, multicultural and mixed-family systems.

• Miscarriage and termination.

• Unseen and excluded children.

• Previous relationships and relationship ordering.

• Victim/perpetrator dynamics.

• Owner/enslaved themes.

• Belonging, truth and systemic balance.

• The use of music, art, theatre, costume and chair work.

• Storytelling as a way of bringing hidden experiences into awareness.

• Creative and nature-based approaches to constellation work.

Professional Practice

You will consolidate your skills through:

• 2 individual sessions

• 10 case studies

• Practice-building coaching.

• Continued reflection on your facilitator role.

You are developing the ability to work flexibly rather than relying on a single constellation format. You learn to select appropriate approaches according to the client, enquiry, context and emerging process.

Module 10 — The Earth as Healer & Graduation

Integration, Professional Practice & Future Development

The final module brings the entire training together.

You will explore:

• The Earth Ensemble Wheel as an integrated framework.

• Nature, elements and the wider environment as resources within constellation practice.

• Working with elemental constellations.

• Shamanic journeying and nature-based practices.

• Ceremony and symbolic approaches.

• The relationship between human experience and the wider natural world.

• Integration of your theoretical and practical learning.

• Your professional identity and future direction.

• Your intentions for continued practice and development.

Graduation & Integration

You will review your development across the programme, consolidate your practitioner framework and present your intentions for taking the work forward.

The final stage is focused on integration rather than simply completion. You bring together theory, personal experience, practical facilitation, case studies, ethical awareness and practitioner reflection.

This advanced stage is designed to develop more than an understanding of Family Constellations. It focuses on the competence and responsibility required to practise the work professionally.

The Professional Outcome

​

By completing Modules 6–10, you will have developed a deeper and more comprehensive foundation for professional Family Constellations practice with a Constellations for the Earth ethos, supported by practical experience, case-study work, ethical frameworks, counselling skills and an extensive body of course material. You will receive a certificate for practice. 

​

The aim is to develop practitioners who can hold space responsibly, work with systemic complexity, whole earth cosmology, facilitate with clarity, respect client autonomy and continue developing through reflective practice and supervision.
