A retreat with Autumn merging with Earth Consciousness and restoring Creative Focus

​

The Autumn Retreat in Falkland is a deep immersion with the land and with the life we each have been given. It operates through the theme of the bardic nature and the practice of Shaman as Writer, Muse Whisperer, Musician and Artist. We begin on the Friday and travel through the powerful Virgo Full moon on Saturday. We contemplate the journey behind us through the Summer and the passage through Autumn, to the Winter Solstice and the direction of North. 

 

What will be your creative focus for the months ahead? What is looking for alignment and attention in you? What is your body and your soul needing to move into the darkness with a longing for the quest of spiritual discovery and illumination?

Who are our guides on this quest? The Mountains, the giants and the creative force within!

​

We connect in with the Lomonds, visiting their foothills and calling on the ancestors and the spirits. We connect with the neighbouring Ochills and the spirits of Dollar Glen. We connect with a mountain close to our home. Then we call in Schiehallion, the headquarters of the sidhe and the caller to the giants and open up a network with the giants and the sidhe. Next we open to the fairy of the fairy Hills and waters at Alva Glen.  Working with the Welsh Bardic maps we find our place within the human as creative beings in the web of life. We divine individually and together to open the creative force to support and make more clear our creative project as we travel through the Harvest Moon early Saturday evening into the darker time of year and the path to the Winter Solstice.

The Sunday is a day of creative project building and culminates in a community ceilidh with a shamanic theatre and constellation Mummers Play for the land and creative force and individual sharing of poetry, music, art and craft or divined writings that become pledges for our creative life and our connection with the earth. 

​

Bring your drums, rattles, creative hopes and projects, hearts, walking shoes, waterproofs, blankets and bardic costumes to play.
